Same thing happened to me. Young Chung was their attorney. I paid cash up front ($4500) to not have to pay more later. They lost all my info which I both faxed and overnighted copies of to them at least 3 times the first year (2.5 years gone by now). They promised the power of attorney in place would remove liens and stop actions against me. 1 month after I paid, the IRS took an entire check from me with only 1 week's notice so I could not react. Associated Tax said they'd get it back, because the IRS should not have been able to do that with power of attorney and case action in place. I asked IRS and they never received any power of attorney. During 2nd half of 2nd year, I had many meetings with IRS and Young Chung never returned phone calls, nor responded to emails and never attended any meetings. Lucky for me IRS marked me uncollectible for one year, but review is coming up. Does anyone know a lawyer that will sue Associated Tax on contingency or perhaps get a class action going against them? I want my money and damages back but don't know how to proceed. Also, need help with IRS meetings in a couple months!!! I owe $250k!!!
