I would like to tell people to not do business with Arcadia Financial. I am a single mother and if I can stop one person from doing business with these people, it is worth it. First, they have get me in trouble at work all the time because these people call me the day after my payment was due. They call me at work constantly. Also, the past week I had an experience that I think was just plain out illegal. Every month I make arrangements to do my payment with check by phone.
On the 5th of Dec. They called me and I set the pymt. Up to be dated on the 19th. Well, I went online to check my bank balance on the 12th and was devastated to see my account drained. They had dated my check by phone for the date of the phone conversation and submitted it to my bank. It cleared only because I deposited a christmas bonus.
I called them to fix the problem asap because I had checks out on that money already. They told me that they did make a mistake and it'd take 2-3 business days. I call on Friday and they tell me it was mistakenly coded and it will take an additional 2-3 days to get my money back to me.
How can they do this? Meanwhile, I have checks bouncing for my son's christmas and my rent. I just want to warn people about this company. They had no problem taking my money from me, but they do have a problem returning it to me. I just think this is unfair and wonder if this is legal. I did not tell them they could take the money until the 19th, but they did anyway. I just wanted to warn everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I still haven't received my money back.
