Cross Country Bank
Cross Country says I owe them money about 2 years after I paid them off what a scam ruined my credit

I paid Cross country off in February in the amount of $523.67.

I have not heard from them or recieved anything from since because when I paid off this bill I also sent a letter saying I wanted to cancel this card.

Last week, Dec, I recieved a letter from a collection agency saying I owed Cross Country over $100. I don't remeber the exact amount because after talking to another representative, I was told this would be taken off so I threw the letter away.

While talking to the first representative, I asked her what it was I supposedly charged for these charges to be on here.

She said she didn't know. I asked her why I hadn't recieved anything phone calls or bills for almost 2 years and she said since the amount was so minimal, Cross country does not mess with it.

I asked her when this collection agency recieved my account then and she did not know.

This has really hurt my credit report for quite awhile and I have not even known it.
