In April I paid off Cross Country Bank through one of their Collection Agency (Simms Associates) and as of today February this matter has not been resolved. Not only are they still saying I owe a balance of $951.00 (keep in mind that my credit limit was only $250.00), the collection agency that the account was settled with, Cross Country Bank says they have never delt with that firm.
I have my money order stubs that show that this account was settled and paid. I am not asking for any refund nor am I trying to sue this company. All I ask for is justice, I want this removed from my Credit report and I want a letter from both Simms Associates and Cross Country Bank, stating that this account has been Paid and Satisfied.
