I, as well had had my Get Smart account for a few years. The account was current with one late payment on it. One month, after not recieving a bill for several months I recieved a statement from Emerge Mastercard.
On this statement my account was past due and my interest rate had hiked trough the ceiling. When I called to see what was going on (after getting a computer several times and being on hold) I could not understand the customer service rep.
The man became very rude when I kept asking him to repeat himself and kept saying that I must have just thrown away my letter I recieved about the changes in my account.
I never recieved anything!!! What's going on and where is my money going?
