In my personal perception, credit card is an add on facility that everybody wants to avail. I am in same race. Yes, even I want to own a credit card with which, so I can shop in every next store and dine in every classy restaurants without thinking about funds. I also want to enjoy those exclusive offers and privileges that are offered with the credit card. But, owning a credit card is not that easy as I suppose. I gave it a try with Citibank credit card and consulted them straight away. Then, here was the piece of information I came to know that with every credit card in India there is an eligibility criterion followed. If you fulfill the eligibility, then your credit card application will lead to the fast approval stage. Otherwise, your application will be rejected. With Citibank credit card, there was age eligibility too, which mean an individual must have attained the age of 24 years, only then, he/she can apply for the credit card.

But for platinum and titanium credit cards, only high income group people can apply. So, before applying for any credit card, you must search for its eligibility.
