After checking to TIVO support for 6 1/2 decades, my TIVO box failed. No repair-service was accessible, whilst the container was no further in manufacturing. No concession was provided; I'd need to purchase a fresh container for approximately $400. I terminated the support and changed to Comcast on 2/20.
