My home air conditioning system has been repaired more than six times in the past year through Emergency Maintenance Service deployed through my home warranty plan with HomeSure Services. Last Monday, the technician came out and found that the system is broken beyond repair and recommended replacemement. HomeSure will only agree to replace the inside piece when it makes no sense to not replace the entire system. I've had three companies out who told me the same thing as Emergency Maintenance. They want me to pay $375 to have them fix the indoor piece or take a settlment of $700. A new energy efficient system would cost $4300.
