Complaint / Review
Fairbanks Capital Corp
"Satan" of mortgage loans, Fraudulent, Ripoff, Need to be stopped

As i read the other reports, I am continuously amazed as to how many people Fairbanks Capital Corp. Has effected. We have also been victimized by Fairbanks and I believe that we have only just begun.

We have had our house for 8 years, have done substantial modifications to it and am not willing to just let Fairbanks take it in a FALSE FORECLOSURE.

Our original mortage was with Contimortgage and just like everyone else, we didn't realize that it had been purcahsed by Fairbanks until we started to receive information from them. We didn't realize what nightmare had just begun either. We have all of our records of our payments yet they claim we are behind. We have paid so much in the fraudulent charges/fees that they tack on to your loan without your knowledge that it is unbelievable.

In the last 3 years, we have calculated that they have charged our account $8,116.82 in such fees... Demand letters, broker price opinion, interest on advances, inspection, not to mention attorney fees and foreclosure costs.

I believe that they prey on people that they think cannot afford to hire an attorney. I know that we have spent $1200 so far and to no avail. They are tough to fight. But... If you think of the alternative, losing your house and having that on your credit, you have to find a way to fight them, especially if you did nothing wrong.

I would love to speak to anyone that has a good attorney or knows of a better way to fight these vultures! We are all hard working, decent people that have a right to keep our houses!

I could go on and on but our stories all match. They are identical! We all know of the horror that they have put us through. We need to come up with a way to fight them and in a timely manner. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
