This company is trying to collect a debt I incurred on an AMEX Corporate Card. I know I need to pay at some point but financial issues prevent me to at this time and it's a pretty large amount of money. Anyway, they are calling me, telling me that they have spoken to management in my company and that I will be fired, etc.
This has been going on for awhile and I'm not sure if they're BS'ing or not. They mentioned the name of an auditor at my company (when I looked him up on our directory, he does exist). Do you think they really have spoken to him or are just trying anything possible? Any ex employees who have ever dealt with a AMEX issue like this please let me know.
