I had a cellular account with AT&T Wireless from June until about February of at which time I paid my balance in full and terminated my account. Today (October 13th) I get a letter from "GC Services Limited Partnership" in Houston, Texas saying I owe AT&T Wireless $29.98. Well, that's interesting! Because I still have the zero balance letter that I specifically requested from AT&T when I terminated my account in February! And I have never recieved ANY correspondence or calls from AT&T since I terminated my account. Don't you think that in the past 8 months, AT&T would have tried contacting me first if I owed them money, rather than have a collection agency do it? Maybe send a letter or two or call me. They have my home phone number! And I highly doubt that AT&T would have sent me a zero balance letter if I still owed them $29.98. So, I fired off my nasty letter today and sent it to this ripoff company, GC Services Limited Partnership. I'm so curious as to what explanation they'll come up with when they see the photocopy of my zero balance letter from AT&T! What a RIPOFF SCAM company GC Services is!
