Attempts to Cheat Customers

On April 8, I was involved in an auto accident that did not involve another vehicle. A car practically ran my vehicle off the road while attempting to pass my vehicle on a two-lane road. I then filed a claim with my insurance company (Discovery Insurance Company). Everything seemed to go according to policy at first, but all of a sudden last week the insurance company notified me by telephone that the rental car must be turned in in ten days. The insurance policy that I signed and received stated that I am allowed to use the vehicle at a rate of $30.00/a day, not to exceed $900.00, which is a total of 30 days. Since then I've tried to correct the problem with the claims adjuster, Diana Aylla, but have been unsuccessful. She faxed me a cpoy of an insurance policy that has different modifications than my policy, and it has no revelance to my problem.

I've since went over the policy with my local agent (Pegram Insurance Agency 1177 E. Lexington Ave. High Point, NC27260 Tel#336-295-6017. He and I have came to the same conclusion: I should be allowed to keep the rental car for 30-days if there has not been a settlement between the insurance company and I regarding my automobile.
