On february 1,2011 i was searching for auto insurance and progressive poped up on my desk top.
I asked for a quote and by the time i finshed answering all the details i was signed up for a policy
costing $33.01 a month. Progressive removed $33.01 from my account then told me i had toprove i had insurance within the past two months? I called the 800 number and was given to a man who was very rude when I tried to find out why i had to show insurance for this vehicle prior to taking
ot this policy. I explained that the vehicle was purchased to be refurbishe and was not driven yet
(outside of the lot where it was being restored. He again was rude and said any policy taken out
with any insurance company has to be proven to have had a prior policy on this vehicle within the past two months. I told him to cancell my request for a policy and it was done. I was told the $33.01
would be credited back to my account. I contacted them 5 days later to find out why my refund was not received by the bank yet? I was told the refund would be done on feb. 13,2011, the 13 would be a sunday. I checked with the bank at 11 am this morning and the girl told me there was no deposit not was there anything pending. 10 minutes after cancelling this policy, i had a policy with
another reputable insurance company and nothing from progressive insurance.
