I sought financing for a HELOC through Bryan Jaskolka at Canadian Mortgages Inc. When he ordered the appraisal for my house (see my post about Metrowide Appraisal Services and Patrick Smith), he was negligent in informing me of what my rights and duties are in regards to the appraisal and especially in the instance that the appraisal is horribly flawed-which it was.
The following are some of my formal complaints being made to the mortgage broker governing body CAAMP:
Derogatory, condescending and disrespectful treatment of me.
Neglect to disclose any conflicts of interest with Metrowide
Appraisal Services.
Neglect to inform me of my rights and duties in the
Transaction.
Failure to protect my interests while not disclosing that he
Had abdicated that responsibility.
