I have had a savings account with U.S. Bank since I was 4 years old that my father opened for me in 1989. I was having a bill automatically debited from that savings account. I was in the process of switching the bill to my checking account at another bank. I talked to a guy at the bank and I ask him if it happens to get taken out again before it switches will I get an over draft fee. He tells me no its a savings account it would just get returned because we don't charge over draft fee's on savings accounts.
Well guess what they do, I filled a report with the better business bureau asking for the fees to be credited and how they can give their customers conflicting information. I got a response back that says they will not credit the fee's back and all the information is in the deposit agreement. Well guess what my dad died when I was 9 I don't know what he did with the paperwork and how am I suppose to know what the deposit agreement said in 1989 I was 4. They suck as a bank and do nothing but rip off their customers who have been with them for awhile.
