Complaint - Change in monthly due date

To Whom it May Concern @ GMAC (I hope it concerns someone):

On 5-8 I leased my second vehicle. Due to my being disabled, I was told I would need a Co-signer. I took care of that. My disability check arrives the 3rd Wednesday of every month. As my due date was the 5th of every month I called GMAC @ 800.200.4622 and spoke with Joyce ID # j2p663 and she assured me I could change my due date from the 5th of every month to the 24th of every month.in order for that to happen, I would have to send in $127.86 for the extension cost. I saw no problem eith that. Joyce also said I would receive a form to fill out and return. Whin I received the form on 8-9, to my horror the form stated I needed to send $136.09 and my new due date would be the 17th of every month. Needless to say (but I will say) I called GMAC AGAIN. At this point I am not a happy person. I talked with Richard ID # R1S. Richard assured me that the computer had my due date the 24th of every month. Richard also said I only needed to send in the $127.86. Fine. I sent the form and a check for 128.00. To my EXTREME horror, I received an overdraft letter from my credit union stating that GMAC extracted my monthly payment 8-11!!! Every transaction I made after the payment drew an overdraft amount of $30.00 each. Silly me did not know GMAC would pick a date out of thin air to extract a monthly payment. Monies in credit union were earmarked but not for GMAC. I called GMAC again 8-23 and talked with Chris ID # h663m2a who could not give me a satisfactual answer so I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was connected to Arvin ID # ava663. I was told I would need to fill in another form to receive 7 days free which would take me to the due date of the 24th of every month. Between Chris and Arvin I spent 55 minutes and 38 seconds on my cell phone, most of which I was on hold listening to awful and very loud music. Now I'm on fire!!! But, being that is was not Arvin's fault he did not have the proper training, I said I was sorry he had to here my bad side (no cursing). Arvin said he understood my frustration. Before I talked with Chris, I cancelled my direct pay. Arvin said I would need to reverse the cancellation and said I could not change it online and would receive Another form before I could reactive direct pay. HA! I went online and reactivated my direct pay. Be assured I will cancel direct pay again due to GMAC does what they want regardless of my plight. GMAC caused my credit union balance to read -$500.00 by misleading me. Shame on GMAC and who ever trains people like Joyce, Chris and Arvin. I sent GMAC a copy of my bank statement. It may not be and big deal to GMAC but it is a VERY big deal to me and my monthly check. Jeffrey from Ohio
