Today Phyllis Jones (888) 832-9785 from the BAM group called my relatives' house and left a detailed message on the house phone stating they are looking for me for writing fraudulent checks and left her name/number to have someone contact me about it. After this she called my cell from a blocked number and left a voicemail stating the same and that she is going to my work and residence to serve me the court papers for fraud and at the end she stated, "You have been officially served." I called the number and asked for Phyllis Jones and BAM said there's no Phyllis there and it might be their outsource agency calling. I told them I had no idea what they're talking about and never received anything indicating such. They wouldn't tell me who the debt was with or for how much. They said they didn't have a website—that it's under construction—and told me they were a law firm colecting a debt, not a collection agency. They said they were taking me to court, that they have a summons to appear and would have me arrested if I don't pay now. I asked the secretary her name but she refused to tell me; when I called back she said her name automatically, maybe Tanna/Tanya/Hanna? She connected me to a supervisor, Miss Leverett at extension 362, who gave me their address of: 7515 W. Encanto Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85001. I told Miss Leverett it's illegal to call me from a blocked number, to leave answering machine messages with details on a relatives' phone, to threaten me with jail and to go to my work as well as tell me they have a subpoena for me to appear in court when it's untrue and not tell me about the alleged bill. She got mad and started yelling at me and said "You're pissing me off!" and went on about how it is NOT illegal to do any of these things and I'm obviously scum and stupid for saying it. I have reported this to FCC, as well.
