I signed a contract with this company for processing my ATM Machines. They promised to provide me with a certain amount per transaction and that they would treat me fairly.
The amount that they provided per transaction was reduced by fees that they claim that they had to pay VISA/MC, so so I actually got quite a bit less than I was promised. What was supposed to be $0.25 per transaction was only $0.125 per transaction after all of their deductions.
And, then they promised to provide me with good service at a reasonable and fair price. Their service was fairly prompt, but it was anything but reasonably priced. They are charging $110 for a service call of any length and then they are charging for a return call at the same rate if they can't fix something on the first call. For a $100 printer they billed nearly $500 to fix it. For a $180 refurbished dispenser swapout they tried to first bill nearly $2000 and then they came down to $800.
And, then when I changed processors because I needed service from them, they debited my bank account for "Damages" of nearly $6000 because of the contract I had signed where they were going to lose revenue because of me changing to another provider who was not going to take the VISA/MC fees and who quoted me service at much more reasonable rates (about 40% of what Automated was getting).
So, if you are considering this company, make sure that they don't get you on a monthly processing fee, the interchange fees, and that you have them agree to provide all service and support on their dime as opposed to having them bill you at a "fair" rate.
These Guys are anything but fair.
