I have two credit card accounts with bank one. One has not had a balance for a while and the other has a balance of about $3300.00 I got some blank checks in the mail from the one that does not have a balance with an APR of 4.99 fixed for the life of the balance. I used one check to pay the card that had a balance. They send me a letter stating that I could not use the checks from the same credit card company to pay a balance.
When I try to make a payment over the phone after the initial payment was denied they would not let me unless I paid the $14.00. I refused to pay that money and went online and submitted a payment without any charges. Days latter I received a degradating letter stating that my account with the zero balance was cancelled due to "excessive revolving debt". I happen to check the company that they used for credit report and my score is 725.
It is not fair for this company to humilliate a person by sending a letter that does not says the truth about why the other card was cancelled in the first place.
