Said they could get me an additional line of credit, and a 0% business credit card without owning a business

I attended a class in Newark, Ca. On 7/31/09 and was told by Dave Burke that he could have me out of debt in two years. He also said during the presentation that if we signed up we could get a line of credit, or an additonal line of credit if we have one already, and that he could also get us a business credit card with a rate of 0% even if we do not own a business. I had six coaching sessions and my "coach" was never able to get me either one of those. I was counting on these tools because the technique of redirecting your income that realtalk teaches, while it is useful, is certainly not sufficient to get you out of debt much sooner than one would otherwise. I signed up for $3,000 and still owe 1,050 to the Conrad collection service. I was further frustrated when the additonal funds I spent to get my credit scores and file my credit reports was wasted. There was nothing derogatory found in any of my credit reports.
Also on two different occasions I had to haggle with the collection service because they said I owed more than I actually did. Not only that, but the spending limit on all but one of my credit cards have been drastically reduced even though I always pay on time. I believe realtalk is using people's desperation and frustration during these tough economic times to scam us. I have barely made a dent in my total credit card debt during the past year.
