This company has been servicing my mortgage for years. I called them to refinance, and was assured that since I have excellent credit and an excellent payment history, my refi loan would close within a few weeks. All that was required was $295 for an application deposit, which would be credited back to me at closing.
After charging the $295 to my credit card, the company made no attempt to actually do the refi. I called them every week to get a status, and was given the runaround.
It is clear that from the start, they had no intention of giving me a new loan; the goal was to charge me $295, which they did. I'm still getting junk mail from them offering easy refi loans...
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are completely deceptive and dishonest.
