Policy Holder beware! State Farm cancels 150 Thousand Home insurance policies in Florida. Sadly the state insurance commisioner and the polititians are sold out to the buying power of state farm. The state OF FLORIDA should have taken an all or none position with this company. State farm should not be allowed to run this state's insurance policy. State farm is allowed to dictate and choose where and how they do business. The insurance pool should include the entire state. For the record my home is in the middle of the state. This is a new and unprecedented way for insurance to be manged by a state insurance commisioner's office. This being allowed proves the power of the lobby has on those who should be representing their constituants and proves they are in the figurative hip pocket of big insurance. Beware all of you who choose to insure your homes with this company. Hurricane Katrina should serve as an example of how poorly this company treats their insured clients.
