Did not update my credit report for an account paid off in november

FCNB is now owned by BB&T.

I settled an FCNB account through Plaza Associates collection agency in November. I have all supporting documentation: letters from the collection agency as well as FCNB stating that the account was "settled in full". I also have the cancelled check.

How do I contact this deadbeat company to have my credit report updated?
