I want to report a serious scam from Inter Pro Systems. I received an email reply from [email protected] under the alias Donald Leon. He told me that my resume had been chosen for an official online interview for an accounting position and that I was supposed to contact Ben Patten at [email protected] to give him my official Yahoo Messenger user name to conduct the interview online.
The interview lasted over 4 hours altogether. Patten kept telling me he had a poor connection and then "had an important file" to handle. I eventually learned that the company is supposedly based out of West Virginia. I want to show the entire scam from start to finish, so please read the entire story to understand the extent of the scam.
To provide the whole story, I have copied and pasted questions questions and some responses that he asked me below. None of these have been changed from the original conversation.

Ben Patten (5/13 3:24: 24 PM): You will work minimum of 3 hours and maximum of 6 hours dailyBen Patten (5/13 4:34: 40 PM): DO you know your typing speed../
Ben Patten (5/13 4:39: 51 PM): Do you have any question before i have this submitted for approval..?
Ben Patten (5/13 4:44: 00 PM): Inter Pro Systems is into system design, project managment and maintainance for, comuter and IT services for different clientele

Ben Patten (5/13 4:53: 53 PM): You will order for it (accounting software) from the approved vendor online
Ben Patten (5/13 4:54: 09 PM): And the coompany will reimburse you oon first paycheck

Ben Patten (5/13 4:55: 06 PM): The software will be shiped to you via FedEx within 24 hours from the vendor
Ben Patten (5/13 5:11: 07 PM): You will resume work as soon as you order and receive the Quick book Pro 2010 version and Peach Tree sage
Ben Patten (5/13 5:13: 57 PM): You will go to a local money gram store, and make the payment to in the vendor's name, a money gram receipt will be given to you, scan it to the email address of the vendor so she can verify it and get back to you on when to expect your shipment

Please note the email address for "Diane Rolison". I eventually told Patten that I would not pay for anything until I had a contract in hand that guaranteed employment with the company. Two hours later, I received an email from "the company email account" [email protected], which was signed by the secretary Denise Wills, who just happens to be the same name as the above hotmail account for Diane Rolison. The email included a word document that was not only poorly formatted but was full of spelling and grammar mistakes. Truthfully, a second grader could have made this document.
In the "contract" the following was listed for the company's contact information:

Please notice the telephone number. I ran a check on the telephone number and it is a cell phone number listed in New York City. I tried calling the number and it went directly to voicemail with the message just saying that the "extension 917-652-7432 is not available".
I hate when people get on this website and intentionally try to badmouth another company or individual. With that said, you need to know that all of this is 100% truthful and came directly from the scammers themselves. Do not fall prey to this organization. It will cost you $156.99 that you will never see again and will likely not be able to get the money returned.
