First Consumers National Bank ripoff Have no idea what happened to my money

Back in 1999 I opened a secured credit card account with FCNB. My account was closed out assuming that the money that was in the secured account covered what was owed on the credit card. I just received a collection notice for the same amount that should been in the secured account.

Last year I had written to FCNB concerned about the account knowing that there was a large sum of money in the secured account. Just wanted to know what transpired with the account To date I have not received any notice from FCNB other than the collection notice from Capital one.

Have no idea what happened to my money or my card but I would like to have my money back if they are going to turn me in collections. Can anyone help me to find out how I go about collecting my money back from my secured account?
