Debticated Consumer Counseling
Ripoff deceiving misleading Frederick

My husband had been through a very ugly divorce which left him with a $12,000 IRS bill and other credit card bills. When we got married we looked into a company that could help us get rid of the debt and possibly get a separate loan so we only had one bill. The main reason we decided to go with Debticated was after 6 months of paying our payment on time, they would set you up with a bank or loan company that would pay-off the individual bills and they would carry the loan.

We wanted to pay-off IRS, because they take all the refunds you would possibly get back. After paying for 5 months on time I called to make arrangements to get the paperwork for the loan, and was informed at that time they no longer are doing that program and had no plan on doing that any time soon. I tried to contact the person that I originally talked with Mr. Lee Tucker, that number had been changed and he could no longer be reached.

When I originally talked with him, he told me that he was a specialist with IRS and that he would negotiate all our payments with them. About 4 months later we received a notice from IRS stating that we had failed to make our payments and they were going to send a collection of monies or goods notice if we didn't notify them. When we did notify IRS, they told me that no payment plan had been set up, I told them what we had done and they set up the payment plan. So I did Mr. Tucker job.

Just recently I received notice, that my payments were not made on time to one of my credit card companies and I was charged a late fee on 2 cards because of this, when I contacted the credit card company they told me that this is Debticated problem and to work it out with them. Which I have sent my credit card bills to Debticated to see if they will resolve this.By the way Debticated had my payment on July 27th, which was my due date, so they had my money on time.

I feel everyting they have promised to us as a consumer has changed since we signed up with them in April. I am very unhappy with the changes made and that they did not keep us informed of the main changes. I feel they need to rectify the changes they have made and keep good the promises they have made to their consumers.
