My counseler, Michael Sclafani, Had told me that debticated would: lower my payments, would lower my interest rates, and after six months of on time payments, that my credit card bills would be cut in half. For the services above, he would have to charge me $6. Oo per account that I wished to consolidate (which was 2 accounts.)
My first payment, plus the $12. Oo would be a contribution. I told him that I couldn't justify giving them $500.00 when I was having problems staying current with my credit card bills. He said, that I would reap the benefits, when my First USA bill, was cut in half. So I let it stay that way, until after the first 7 payments were made, on time, to approach them about the 1/2 of the total bill reduction, that he had promised. My payments were to be $500.00 per month. They kept my first payment, of $500.00 as a contribution. I went through the attorney generals office, and after 9 months, I got my $500.00 applied to my credit card debt. I NEVER got my First USA bill cut in 1/2 like he said. I was told that My first USA bill would be reduced to 1/2 of the total.
I paid off my First USA with another credit card, just to get rid of the high interest rate, that Debticated was supposed to have gotten reduced for me, in the first place, that is why I signed on with them, Which they NEVER did. I am still paying them $6.00 per month (for 2 years) so I can keep my Bank of America credit card at 0% interest.By the way, I did the negotiating myself, with BOA, on the interest rate. This company: DEBTICATED, promises to help get people on the right track to financial freedom, but what they actually do is: wreck your credit, and they do not follow through with the promises that they make, prior to joining their scam.
