To make a long story short, we bought a lemon from maine auto credit. From the first week we had problems with it. Got behind in payments. Tried to communicate this to them. I'm having financial difficulties at the moment with my wife being sick and not able to work. Also was unemployed for nine months, before finding my current job I've been at now for almost 5 months. Bills piled up even with my working now. On the 22nd of Jan a friday I spoke with Jon Melanson. I made a payment arrangment via cc. For payment to come out of my account NEXT FRIDAY, the 29th of Jan. The payment was to be for $160.00. Keeping in mind I am past due. I asked Jon before hanging up to verify payment info. He verified payment was to be taken out on the 29th. At 10am sharpe. Ok now thanks bye. It's just now a little after 11:30 am... Da da da. Thinking i'm all set and can finally gets things back on track... The next day I check my account and guess who withdrew money from my account without my permission. MAINE AUTO CREDIT! I told them that day I did not have the money in my account for this, but I could pay next friday. This caused intense emotional harm to my well being and I'm seeking Consul from any Lawyer who wants to talk about this matter with me. Keep in mind this is not the whole story and not the first time. This time though this is over the edge and I'm on the verge of financial ruin because of Maine Auto Credits unscrupulous actions.
