My name is Jennifer Ruiz and I have a major complaint against this company that americans bailed out. On November 27th we took a cash advance of 1125.00 on our Bank of America Visa card. That cash advance cost us $45.00 to complete the transaction and the advace interest rate was 19.5%. Five days later we returned the money to a Bank of America in Redlands California and told the teller that we wanted the whole amount to go against the cash advance.insted they put the money against our regular balance and have been charging us 19.5% rever since which raises the cash advance balance each month. We called and to get this fixed and they told us that it is in the fine print that thy could put the money towards the lower interest amount if they chose to. When speaking with the customer service people they were very rude and not helpful at all. They said they would not fix this because we should have read the fine print. I told him that his bank tellers did not even know the fine print because they told us the amount was going directly to the cash advance. They disassociated themselfs from the bank and refused to help us at all. I recall bailing them out when they were irresponsible with our money but that did not matter. Bank of America is killing their customers with hidden fees and they are laughing all the way to the bank. We need a boycott of this bank. Cut up credit cards and move to Wells Fargo. Bank of America does not deserve our business.
