I received a phone call from Mr. Nick Thomas of the SWM Laboratories trying to sell me a subscription to Resvortral. I informed Mr. Thomas that I did NOT sign up for anything I had not tried. I was interested in trying Resvortral, but had not, since ever offer seemed to be a sign up for receiving continious bottles uless cancelled. I definitely would NOT do this. He then offeered me a trial bottle for $29.29 plus 3.95 shipping. I informed him that if it was just the one bottle for $29.95 I would try it, but I did not want any other charges or any other shipments unless I personally called and ordered. He assured me that I would not receive any more unless I called and ordered. He then assured me if I did call an reorder I would receive it at the reducted price of $29.95.
I had planned to call and reorder until I recieved my credit card bill. I was charged $87.13 plus $3.95 shipping. I was shocked that I had been treated in this manner. I had made myself extremely clear when I ordered the bottle for $29.95. I immediately called the company and disputed this charge. They were not very helpful but did eventually say they would send the dispute to the dispute department and I could call back in 3 days. Why I have to call back, I have no idea. I have called my credit card company and disputed the charge with them and explained that I should not have been charged $87.13. Obviously, this company makes a practice of scamming people. They would probably get a lot more orders if they were trueful to people. I refuse to order from a company that does not keep its word. It is most unfortunate that this company practices this scam over orders, as I had planned to reorder. But I now want nothing to do with this company.
