'No Annual Fee For Life'

I'm a former AT&T worker, and that I've transported the AT&T Universal Card since 1992. After I obtained the card, I had been additionally assured 'no yearly charge for a lifetime'. Envision my shock after I recently obtained a notice informing me I'd be billed a $30 yearly charge from September. After I named the card company, Citibank (South Dakota) to protest, they arrogantly explained the conditions useful contract claims they've the best to modify or alter any part of the contract at their attention. After I stated, "Therefore, 'no yearly charge for life' does not actually imply no yearly charge for life, this means 'no yearly charge for life till we choose to alter our thoughts', the indifferent repetition and his boss equally extended to send me back again to the conditions useful contract. I'll seek advice from a lawyer to determine easily have any legitimate option, however in the meantime, I'm going to be deleting my card. They recently cut my credit line-in half, lifted my RATE to 20%, and today they would like to cost mean annual charge. AT&T and Citibank have my authorization to stay my card where sunlight do not shine!
