I was applying for an apartment and was informed that I owed a debt that was with Southern Management. I am sure that this debt was settled over 4 years ago. I called and got this NUT JOB ROBERT WEAVER on the phone. I was calm and explained that there was an error and that I did not owe the debt.
Mr. Weaver was IMMEDIATELY rude and insulting and threatened to hang up on me when I tried to ask questions about the debt. Also, I could have never owed a $2000 debt from an apartment that was only $600 per month. He said that he did not have to provide me with any information and told me that I could write a letter of dispute which is stupid because when I called back a woman answered and refused to allow me to speak with someone else besides Mr. Weaver who she said was the office manager and had no boss. YEH RIGHT! The woman was also rude.
I couldn't believe that I read someone else's usacomplaints.com and they had the exact same situation happen.
These people are crazy. I don't understand why they are still in business. SOMEONE STOP THEM!
In the end the issue got nowhere and I am still in debt from this until I can take legal action.
