I tried to pay my Chase Bank mortgage today but they won't accept my payment because they are upgrading their system. I talked to 4 different people who all had different information. They could not note on my account that I had called to make a payment, could not help me get my username / password to get onto the website, and could not give me a clear answer as to when I could call back to make a payment. Three said there would be some kind of grace period, but these all differed. One said there would be no grace period and a penalty for late payment plus credit reporting, even though they would not accept my payment!
