FCNB Ripoff mistreated and ripped off would like to contact someone who is considering a law suit They added on late charges and overlimit fees

FCNB last year after I was waiting for a loan to come through I missed a payment. They added on late charges and overlimit fees until my 700 dollar account was over a 1000 dollars. They closed my account and turned it over to Alliance One who were very nice to me and I got my payoff down to 781 dollars which I promptly paid on July 19th of 2002.

I continued to get bills from FCNB until March and they filed a report with the credit agencies that I owed them money. Then they tried to collect the fictitious balance from me again until I sent them a copy of the letter from Alliance One that I had paid the balance and a copy of the check. Thank goodnes I didnt throw the letter or the copy of the check away.

My wife continued to mantain an account with FCNB until they closed her account in March. Now she has been turned over to Alliance One for being one day late on a payment even though she made it. I have a check and E-mail confirmation on this payment. Her account has went from 800 to over 1000 dollars in two months even though we cant make any payments over the phone to FCNB.

We must deal with Alliance One and they cannot do anything to resolve this matter except pay the balance. THere should be someone at FCNB to contact about this. We have called customer service and were told there is nothing they can do as it has beeen turned over for collection.
