Ripoff!

The following is a letter that I sent to them explaining the problem:

To Whom It May Concern or Who May Be Able To Resolve:

I had several accounts with FCNB including a Spiegel and never missed any payments. My cards were taken from me for whatever reason I do not know. I continued to pay my payments and paid off most of the cards before they were due. I know that you had the right to take my cards at your will. The problem that I have is that I was and still am a good customer who you have earned much money from over the years.

My account 4071-7600-0124-7639 was down to a balance of 35.00, which I was making the monthly payments on. The last couple have been posted as late even though I sent them in plenty of time. The first late payment missed by one day and I sent it 18 days before it was due. I tried to call but could not talk to a customer agent because I am no longer an active member. The next one missed by one day also (strange). The third just occurred and again I sent in the payment. You can check my history and see that you received these payments. I made an online payment today to insure it would be there in time and stop this madness. I now have paid 40.00 on the original 35.00 balance and I owe almost 100.00 because of the late fees. I am requesting that you consider refunding these late charges as a fair business decision. I am still paying another account that you will receive much interest on before it is paid.
