I had applied for a credit card with this company.in the initial paperwork I was told there was a 69. Yearly fee. Which I was ok with. I only wanted to rebuild my credit after a bankruptcy. And I know I have to pay the fees. I got the card and I noticed it stated I had a 69. One time enrollment fee and would be billed $5.75 a month. I called the rep to see if this was in addition to the 69. One time enrollment fee. She said no it would pay off the 69 yearly fee. So I activated the card. When I got my statement in the mail I noticed there is a 69. One time fee and a 69 annual fee. Tricky wording and advertising is wrong. So for a $250. Credit limit I paid $170. When I again called the rep she informed me I still would pay the fees if I cancelled plus a $3.00 cancellation fee. Really I understand I have to pay to rebuild my credit but I don't feel I have to be lied to. When will we have honest companies in the United States. I am willing to pay however I am not willing to do business with dishonest companies. And I will let everybody know if I have a bad experience with a company. I have always paid my bills on time and owned homes and cars but due to unfortunate events I was put into a situation that I had no options. American companies should just be honest I am willing to pay but not to dishonest people.
