First Bank Of Delaware - Tribute Mastercard (gold)
Closed account with no warning. Received a letter a month later. I do not care about paying balance but not the fees they charged me when I had good credit with them. Also had several credit increases

On Sept. 2 I checked my limit on line. I was getting ready to do my online banking. I then noticed I had no credit limit it was down from 900 to 0. No warning no call or letter. I did receive a letter Sept. 11 stating that they were discontinuing the Tribute Gold MasterCard program. I still have the letter. I wrote them to take off the yearly fee of $79 they had charged me in Aug and the $10 monthly fees they are charging me for the closed account. On my credit report it shows closed by credit issues and shows my credit limit go down from 900 to 0. I never used more then $300 and paid every month on time at least $200 or $250. I have all bank statements to show this and I pay my bills online. I owe a small amount of $272 and I did pay them last month. I wrote them and asked them to take off the yearly charge and monthly charge and I will pay them off to get rid of the amount. They did not respond. I feel this was known they were going to close these accounts and to charge me a yearly fee a month before they closed my account is shady to say the least. I may not do well at expressing myself but I am on disability and I was doing a good job of getting my credit in order. I have on card in good standing and just got a Visa card with a low credit limit but better no charges or fees. I do not want to let them mess up my credit but it eats me up to see them basically stealing this money from all the people who's accounts were closed. I want to pay them but I would like them to be fair and take off all the fees for a card I was in good faith paying them on time for over 2 years.
