I was contacted by a company named Fidelity Corp for a loan modification. They talked to me about getting into a 30 year fixed mortgage, and I submitted an application and agreed to pay $1299 for my first home and $1299 for my second. They had me fill out a bunch of paperwork online, and then told me they needed additional information to be faxed to them. I went to fax this information and it would not go through. I called to see why and the phone numbers were disconnected. I started googling Fidelity Corp and couldn't find ANYTHING on them. I tried to email them, and the emails were undeliverable.
A couple days later one of the people contacted me and I told them I felt like I was being ripped off. They assured me I was not, and the server was just down. I tried to call her back and I got a very sketchy voicemail telling me to send an email to some gmail email address. I searched their address and found that there is a company called FINTECH with several consumer complaintss against them.
Now I have been charged $1299 once for a service and a company that is either fraudulent or nonexistant!
