I was $10 overdrawn in my account with Wachovia and they charged $280 in overdraft charges for 5 small purchase items. I called them to straighten it out and no one was willing to help. They knew this was unfairly done and I was doubled charged for each purchase that went through and they charged an additional $225 on top of the overdraft charges.
After calling several times and finally speaking with a manager and they gave me a $31 credit, which they later put the $31 fee back on there even though there were no other charges that came through. I'm very disappointed in Wachovia and I would never recommend their bank to anyone. It's unfair practices like this that causes these large corporate banks to fail. If anyone has any information as to what I can do, please let me know.
