I just received a collection note from AFNI Collections for $175 apparently owed to T-Mobile even though I never had a T-Mobile account. When I contacted T-Mobile they have no record of what it is owed for. I have seen many other of these claims made on this and other sites. I did call AFNI and they they told me I could fill out a dispute form. My question is this... What steps exactly should I take to end this harrassment so that it does not affect my home refinance at the end of the summer?
