When I was laid off from work, in the early part of this year, I was very tight with funds. I made every effort short of losing my apartment, unfortunatly i had to borrow money from my bank in the form of check advances. While I knew it was coming, I did not know how it would play out entirely, so I made an attempt to close my account so that it would not incure any overdrafts from being in a negative state, as I had been laid off completely and expected NO money coming in.
I made contact with US Bank personell at the Spanish Lake, Missouri Branch, where I had started the account. The lady, whose name I have forgotten, stated that I need to allow the overdrafts to incure and that when they do I should then contact them so that they may force close my account, and I listened. A couple weeks later they did just that, when I spoke with her she was very apprehensive and advised me to contact the debt recovery department inorder to get those charges reversed. I thought to myself, "I have been lied to again." Like so many other times before by this same company. When I contacted thier debt recovery department they too did not have it together, saying that I owe 624 dollars and have to pay $64.95 with three monthly installments to satisfy the debt... When I asked of the overdraft charges they stated that they cannot reverse those charges, that only the branch may do that. They refused to be held accountable. As did the woman at the branch, keep in mind she did speak with the branch manager in order to figure out just what to do in this circumstance.
In conclusion, in a report on this website numbered 452790, The person describes being overdrafted for withdrawing money previous to data entry of those deposits.US Bank is reknown for this, As well as stacking against your account in order to whittle you down so that you incur many small overdrafts which keep in mind will cost you a whopping $37.50 a piece. I have never, in my life seen such unethical behavior from a FORIEGN investment group in my life, they are moneied vultures and should have some manner of vigilantism performed on thier sacred coffers, though I would not do it, some rouge should.
