On June 23 I was hit with 5 overdraft fees all for 34.00 a piece. Then on June 24 I was hit with another one for 34.00 a total of 6 plus late fees for 7.00 a day making my account 331.00 negative. I was so upset because I didn't understand what was going on with my account.
I've been banking with US bank for almost 2 year and just this year, I've been having problems with them since May. I contacted the branch manager on the overdraft charges and said he couldn't help. Now for 3 days they've been holding credit card transaction on my account, which I thought since they were being held on my account that they were automatically going to be paid I was wrong the branch manager said.
I wanted to know how a check came through and made all these transaction that were held for 3 days overdraft on my account. He said he didn't know and next time I need to manage my account better. I let him know that I did balance my account and the check was last transaction made and the highest, so why was it first to post to my account. He told me he didn't and he would call me back and I haven't got that call yet.
