Odia Rita of "Rita Loan World" ripped me off in an internet loan scam. They offered to loan me $150,000 at 3% APR over 20 years. First, I had to pay out $489 for "fees and a Collateral Loan Deposit". I paid the $489 fee but did not receive my loan. When I contacted them to ask them why, they told me the Malaysian Government put a "Value Added Tax" or "VAT" requirement on the loan and said the fee of $1,500 could not be taken out of the loan proceeds. As you can imagine, this became very frustrating for me at this point because now I just wanted my money back as stated in part 5 of THEIR loan contract which stated I could opt out of the loan if I changed my mind and have my fees minus $25 refunded to me. I made several requests for them to do this but they refused stating the government of Malaysia had confiscated all the funds because I refused to pay the "VAT"! I know better now not to ever trust anyone on the internet!!! Is there anyone out with any ideas on how I can get my money back?
