I paid premiums for years to AccountSecure Plus to help with my credit card debt in the event I became unable to make the payments due to disability or unemployment etc..
Due to the economy, I lost my job Dec 4th of 2008. Unemployment benefits do not begin to cover my bills so I filed a benefit request with this company.
The first time I sent in my request, they (AccountSecure Plus) told me that they did not recieve a request from me.
I filed a second request. This time they said that I did not send enough information to process my request. I asked them to tell me exactly what information I still needed to send. They told me just the opposite of what they had told me in an earlier conversation.
I then sent in everything they asked for only to find out a couple weeks later that I had been denied benefits because I was temporairly laid off for two weeks during the Thanksgiving holidays in Nov.
They told me that because I had not worked for the full 13 (thirteen) weeks prior to permanant lay off that I was not entitled to benefits.
I found out that I had been denied when my credit card company called asking for my payment.
