Chase doesn't do what they say

I was set up on a payment plan to Chase to take care of some credit card debt. They were supposed to take 92.00 out of my checking account each month until the balance was paid off. Everything was fine until I got a letter.

In this letter, it said that I was behind two payments and that to get my account current, I'd have to pay them $200 and some change. Confused, I called them to get it straightened out.

Turns out that it was a mistake on THEIR part. Then they told me that I still had to pay the 200 some odd bucks to get my account current. I asked them why I should have to pay since it was their mistake. They said that the account needs to be made current.

I said to them that this was their mistake. They were supposed to take the money out of my bank and they did not. They said that until the account was made current, they could not continue with the payment plan.

This was not my fault! The Chase people even said that it was a mistake on their part! So why should I have to pay for their mistakes??
