I've always been impressed by Amex but this week I'm particularly impressed:)
Yesterday I got an email alerting me to possible fraudulent charges on my card. I called and they described a suspicious charge that was made just 2 days prior. It turns out I hadn't made that particular purchase, so they voided the charge and sent me a new card. They said it'd take up to 5-7 days (as would be expected) but I got the card TODAY.
Oh, and the Gold Card Events program is amazing. I always go on Ticketmaster and look up tickets without my Amex password, and then WITH the password, and 100% of the time the Amex seats are better and most times are cheaper than they usually would sell for to the general public.
