My home of 15 years is up for foreclosure. We tried to work with Fairbanks but every time I asked for a forebearance aggreement I kept getting the runaround.
When they finally sent the forebearnce aggrement it was after the due date and the aggrement was void. Each time I called they had assigned a new person to my account, and it took forever to get a response.
Each time they sent a new forbearance they had tacked on new attorney's fees, late fees, and a host of other fees. Many of which they can't explain. Finally, I got an attorney to manage the whole thing. We are in the middle of trying to sell the house but Fairbanks will not even give us a payoff so we can close. They would rather send it to foreclosure. I learn from my mistakes. Never again.
