On Feb 14th Phil showed up at my residence stating he needed to repossess my rv due to non payment. I asked if I could pay the balance due to the bank and stop the repo or not. Phil stated NO you can't do anything. Since the rv could not be towed Phil had to wait for a tow truck for his own vehicle.in the meantime, I called the bank, stated the problem, made payment in full and the Mrs. Taylor (1-866-560-4449 ext. 75141) from GE Money asked to speak with Phil. Phil asked how he was going to get paid if he did not repo the rv, and Mrs. Taylor stated he couldn't. Mrs. Taylor also told him he could not and should not repo the rv since payment had been made. As I was finishing my business with Mrs. Taylor getting confirmation #'s, etc. My wife came in and said Phil just drove off with our rv. I called the police and explained the problem, but they stated it was more of a civil matter.
I called Mrs Taylor (1-866-560-4449 ext. 75141) back and told her Phil had taken my rv anyways. She said he should return it immediately. She stated that she had called Phil's boss Jason and told him to NOT repo the vehicle. Little that did.
Being that this RV had not been run since summer and was fully winterized. I am looking to have a mechanic do a full work over to make sure nothing happened while in Phil's possession. Also, being that this rv gets about 6 mpg. I am looking to get at least $50 or more worth of fuel for letting it run in the street to warm up along with any and all driving depending on where in the world they took MY vehicle. Not to mention, not being run for over 6 months without a mechanic first going over everything to make sure it was in working order for the winter months.
I have no idea who regulates this industry, but someone has to do something. The bank has told these people, first and foremost, not to take the rv. Then after stealing the rv, the bank told the company to return the rv, but still to this day I have not seen or heard from anyone.
