Ok So I just recieved a phone call for the 200th time from WFNNB! I have spoken to some nice people and others are just rude! I have explained to these people a million times my situation and alot of them say they understand but do they really?
Only 6 months ago I got married, my husband lost his job, and we were in danger of losing our home! So paying my Victoria Secret credit card had to be put on hold for the time being.
About two weeks ago I recieved a call from WFNNB about my card and I tried to explain everything to the gentalmen about what is going on and that we are just getting out of out financial situation and then I can pay my bill. With the way the economy has been you would think people would understand money situations.
So I squared everything away with him, he told me he would make a note so that the phone calls would stop. Guess again! I recieved another phone call and this time there was a storm outside so my phone lost service. I know some people hang up on these creditors but I assure you I didnt. Its not their fault that I didnt pay my bill. Well then my voice mail went off I got a nasty message from the same guy that my phone hung up on. Telling me that I am rude and disrepectful when he is trying to help me out of my financial situation. IS HE GOING TO PAY FOR IT? I'm sorry but he called me. I didnt ask for help nor does anyone other then my husband and I truely know our situation.
After that phone call I was pissed! So I called them and spoke with a really nice guy who talked with me about what he can do and what, financially, I can do. So he wanted me to just pay $20.00 so it will stay off my credit report right now and I explained that I can pay it off in full by the end of next month. So we set that up.
That same day the $20.00 went out I got a phone call from another guy just verifying the plan we had set up. Which was fine.
Now today a week later I just got a phone from a woman saying that she needs a post dated check or the phone calls will not stop. I told her I am not giving out that information, and she replied "Then I am just going to send all your information to your credit report, How do you like that?" Is this lady kidding me!!! So I told her she was rude and that she can go screw herself. I am not a rude person by any means but this is just rediculas. You know, we dont know if we are even going to have jobs tomorrow but we have to sit here and be harrassed by these people. Its insane. This has to be stopped. Theres got to be something we can do!
