I purchased 4 walmart visa debit cards with 100 dollars on each card. I purchased them with the understanding that they were accepted anywhere a visa credit card was accepted. This is how they are advertised. I tried to use the cards at various businesses and half of them denied their use saying that they had had problems with the cards in the past. No where in walmarts advertising on these products does it say that businesses have the right to refuse theses cards usage. Had there been a warning about this i would not have purchased the cards. Upon talking with associates at the store I bought them at, and speaking with Walmart headquarters, I was told that walmart had no control over the denial of these cards by businesses. When confronted about the advertising of these cards, Walmart said that it had no concerns over if their advertising was decieving or false in nature.
